As the BC juniors hit the halfway point, we have a tight race as 6 points separate the top 6 teams.
However we are starting to notice some trends in the underlying team statistics and would expect Port Coquitlam to not move above 6th place while the Adanacs and Salmonbellies are starting to edge ahead of Langley, Victoria and Delta ever so slightly. Both teams sport a sterling 5-2 record over teams at .500 or better which speaks to the quality of the defense (Coquitlam) and offense (New West).
Is a Coquitlam vs New West final preordained? Certainly not but Langley, Victoria and Delta must make that important leap and beat the winning teams if they want to break ranks and earn some playing time in August.
